These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contacts, both verbally and in writing entered into between Step Out Of The Story and the customer.
1. An assignment is concluded by written acceptance of the registration. An assignment can also be achieved by an oral appointment, for example by arranging a consultation / session.
2. Sessions/consultations and mentoring must be paid in advance. The customer will receive an invoice for this by e-mail.
3. Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. If not, the relevant amount will be charged.
If Step Out Of The Story cancels the appointment, the customer’s obligation to pay for the consultation / session expires.
4. No refunds will be made on consultations/sessions, workshops and mentoring.
5. These terms and conditions and everything related to them are governed by Dutch law.
6. Step Out Of The Story has a complaints procedure. If there are complaints about the services provided, the customer can make this known. The complaints must be confirmed in writing by the customer.
7. If the terms and conditions of the customer conflict with the conditions of Step Out Of The Story, then the conditions of Step Out Of The Story apply. Any stipulation to the contrary in the customer’s terms and conditions does not affect the foregoing.
8. No information is provided to third parties, unless the customer expressly gives permission for this.
9. Notes can be made during sessions/consultations and mentoring. These are stored in accordance with the Dutch privacy law AVG. The customer has the right to view it and/or have it destroyed.
10. The services are provided online, unless otherwise agreed. The customer is responsible for taking care of his own internet connection and the necessary software on his own device.
11. The customer remains responsible and liable for his/her own behaviour and choices at all times.
12. Step Out Of The Story is/ has no crisis service. In the event of a crisis, the customer can approach their own gp, or the GP post outside office hours.
